Samples Notification No. 93/86-C.E. Dated 10-2-1986 In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-rule (1) of rule 8 of the Central Excise Rules, 1944, the Central Government hereby makes the following further amendments in the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue and Insurance) No. 171/70-Central Excises, dated the 21st November, 1970, namely :- In the said notification, - (1) for the words, figures and brackets "Item No. of the First Schedule to the Central Excises and Salt Act, 1944 (1 of 1944)", the words, figures and bracket "heading Nos. or sub-heading Nos. of the Schedule to the Central Excise Tariff Act, 1985 (5 of 1986)" shall be substituted. (2) in the Table, in column 2, - (a) for the heading, the following heading shall be substituted, namely :- "Heading No. or sub-heading No. of the Schedule to the Central Excise Tariff Act, 1985 (5 of 1986)", (b) entries specified in Column (1) of the Schedule below shall be substituted with the corresponding entries specified in column (2) thereof.
