Silver Oxide Button Cells [Tariff Item 31] Notification No. 2/86-C.E. Dated 15-1-1986 In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-rule (1) of rule 8 of the Central Excise Rules, 1944, the Central Government hereby exempts silver oxide button cells, falling under Item No. 31 of the First Schedule to the Central Excises and Salt Act, 1944 (1 of 1944), from the whole of the duty of excise leviable thereon under section 3 of the said Act. This notification shall be in force up to and inclusive of the 30th day of June, 1986.
