Glass and glassware [Tariff Item 23A] Notification No. 244/85-C.E. Dated 4-12-1985 In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-rule (1) of rule 8 of the Central Excise Rules, 1944, the Central Government hereby makes the following further amendment in the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue) No. 59/85-Central Excises, dated the 17th March, 1985, namely :- In the Table annexed to the said notification, against S. No. 7, in Column (3), for the existing entry, the entry "Glass bangles, glass beads and glass chattons." shall be substituted.
