Appointment of Commissioner of Customs, Ahmedabad as Commissioner of Customs and Central Excise, Rajkot for adjudication of cases of M/s. Essar Oil Limited Notification No. 37/99-Cus. (N.T.) Dated 8-6-1999 In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 4 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), the Central Government hereby appoints the Commissioner of Customs, Ahmedabad to be the Commissioner of Customs, to exercise the powers of the Commissioner of Customs and Central Excise, Rajkot under the said Act and rules made thereunder for the purpose of adjudicating the case pertaining to seizure made by Directorate of Revenue Intelligence, of machinery and parts valued about Rs. 600 crores C.I.F. of M/s. Essar Oil Limited and other matters relating to such case.
