Exchange rates for imported goods - Notification No. 4/98-Cus. (N.T.) amended Notification No. 9/98-Cus. (N.T.) Dated 10-2-1998 In pursuance of sub-section (2) of section 20 of the Indian Stamp Act, 1899 (2 of 1899) and sub-clause (i) of clause (a) of sub-section (3) of section 14 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), the Central Government hereby makes the following amendments in the Notification of the Government of India, Ministry of Finance, Department of Revenue No. 4/98-NT-Cus. [S.O. 85(E)], dated 27th January, 1998 namely :- In the Schedule-I of the said Notification for serial No. 2, 9 15 of the said notification the entries relating thereto, the following shall be substituted, namely :- Sl. No. Foreign Currency Rate of exchange of one unit of foreign currency equivalent to Indian rupees (1) (2) (3) 2. Australian Dollar 26.50 9. Malaysian Ringitt 10.00 15. Singapore Dollar 23.00 This rate will be effective from 11th February, 1998.
