Customs ports - Appointment for specified purposes Notification No. 1/96-Cus.(N.T.) Dated 16-1-1996 In exercise of the powers conferred by clause (a) of section 7 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), the Central Government hereby makes the following further amendment in the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue), No. 62/94 (N.T.)-Customs, dated the 21st November, 1994, namely :- In the Table annexed to the said notification, against serial number 10 relating to Tamil Nadu, in columns (3) and (4), for the entries, the following entries shall respectively be substituted, namely :- (3) (4) (1) Cuddalore Unloading of imported goods and the loading of export goods or any class of such goods. (2) Ennore Unloading of ammonia. (3) Karaikal Unloading of imported goods and the loading of export goods or any class of such goods. (4) Madras Sea Port Unloading of imported goods and the loading of export goods or any class of such goods. (5) Mandapam Unloading of imported goods and the loading of export goods or any class of such goods. (6) Nagapattinam Unloading of imported goods and the loading of export goods or any class of suh goods. (7) Pondicherry Unloading of imported goods and the loading of export goods or any class of such goods. (8) Rameshwaram Unloading of imported goods and the loading of export goods or any class of such goods. (9) Tuticorin Unloaidng of imported goods and the loading of export goods or any class of such goods. (10) Valinokkam Unloading of imported goods and the loading of export goods or any class of such goods. (11) Veppalodai Unloading of imported goods and the loading of export goods or any class of such goods.
