Customs House Agents Licensing (Amendment) Regulations, 1992 Notification No. 35/92-Cus. (N.T.) Dated 30-4-1992 In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (2) of section 146 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), the Central Board of Excise Customs hereby makes the following regulations further to amend the Customs House Agents Licensing Regulations, 1984 (hereinafter referred to as the said regulations), namely :- 1. (1) These regulations may be called the Customs House Agents Licensing (Amendment) Regulations, 1992. (2) They shall come into force on the 4th day of May, 1992. 2. In the Customs House Agents Licensing Regulations, 1984, - (i) in sub-regulation (1) of regulation (9), for the words and figure "Rs. 250", the words and figure "Rs. 500" shall be substituted; (ii) in sub-regulation (1) of regulation 10, for the words and figure "Rs. 500", the words and figure "Rs. 5,000" shall be substituted; and (iii) in sub-regulation (3) of regulation 12, for the words and figure "Rs. 100", the words and figure "Rs. 3,000" shall be substituted.
