Baggage (Second Amendment) Rules, 1991 Notification No. 71/91-Cus. (N.T.) Dated 14-11-1991 In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (2) of Section 79 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), the Central Government, being satisfied that it is necessary in the public interest so to do, hereby makes the following rules further to amend the Baggage Rules, 1978, namely :- 1. (1) These rules may be called the Baggage (Second Amendment) Rules, 1991. (2) They shall come into force on the date of their publication in the Official Gazette. 2. In the Baggage Rules, 1978, in Rule 6, for the words "one thousand and five hundred rupees", the words "ten thousand rupees" and for the words "three thousand rupees", the words "twenty thousand rupees" shall be substituted.
