Appointment of Customs Officers Notification No. 39/89-Cus. (N.T.) Dated 26-6-1989 In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of Section 4 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), the Central Government hereby makes the following further amendment in the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue) No. 252-Customs, dated the 27th August, 1983, namely :- In the said notification, against S. No. 1 in Clause (a), for the words "Director of Revenue Intelligence, New Delhi", the words "Director General/Director of Revenue Intelligence, New Delhi" shall be substituted.
