Films imported for exhibition at a Film festival approved or recommended by the Central Government - Amendment to Notification No. 3/89-Cus. Notification No. 133/99-Cus. Dated 27-12-1999 In exercise of the powers conferred by the sub-section (1) of section 25 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), the Central Government, being satisfied that it is necessary in public interest so to do, hereby makes the following further amendment in the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue), No. 3/89-Customs, dated the 9th January, 1989, namely :- In the said notification, - (a) in Schedule I, after item (e), the following shall be inserted, namely :- "(f) films imported for exhibition at a Film festival approved or recommended by the Central Government"; (b) in Schedule II, in item (3), for the words "Exhibition or meeting", the words "Exhibition, meeting or film festival" shall be substituted.
