Projects notified under Heading No. 98.01 - Amendment to Notification No. 42/96-Cus. - 45/97 - Customs -Tariff

Projects notified under Heading No. 98.01 - Amendment to Notification No. 42/96-Cus. Notification No. 45/97-Cus. Dated 14-5-1997 In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-item (6) of heading No. 98.01 of the First Schedule to the Customs Tariff Act, 1975 (51 of 1975), the Central Government, having regard to the economic development of the country, hereby notifies Urban Distribution Development Projects of Andhra Pradesh State Electricity Board in Hyderabad and Tirupati towns as projects for the purpose of assessment under the said heading and for the said purpose makes the following further amendment in the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue) No. 42/96-Customs, dated the 23rd July, 1996, namely :- In the said notification, after serial number 20 and the entry relating thereto, the following shall be added, namely :- "21. Urban Distribution Development Projects of Andhra Pradesh State Electricity Board in Hyderabad and Tirupati towns".
