Amends Notification No. 100/89-Cus. to fully exempt iron ore and granite of all sorts from export duty Notification No. 91/93-Cus. Dated 28-2-1993 In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 25 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), the Central Government, being satisfied that it is necessary in the public interest so to do, hereby makes the following further amendment in the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue) No. 100/89-Customs, dated the 1st March, 1989, namely :- In the Table annexed to the said notification,- (i) for Sl. No. 9 and the entries relating thereto, the following Sl. Nos. and entries shall be substituted, namely:- (1) (2) (3) "9. 10. Manganese ore. 10. 11. Iron Ore, all sorts."; (ii) after Sl. No. 23 and the entries relating thereto, the following Sl. No. and entries shall be added, namely:- (1) (2) (3) "24. 26. Granite (including black granite), porphyry and basalt, all sorts.".
