Specified Goods of Chapter 39, 69, 82, 84, 85 or 90 - Amendment to Notification No. 317/87-Cus. Notification No. 266/92-Cus. Dated 1-9-1992 In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 25 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), the Central Government, being satisfied that it is necessary in the public interest so to do, hereby makes the following further amendment in the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue) No. 317/87-Customs, dated the 17th September, 1987, namely : In the Table annexed to the said notification, after S. No. (ix) and the entries relating thereto, the following S. No. and entries shall be inserted, namely :- (1) (2) (3) "(x) The following goods :- 1. ISO Static press for Powder Metallurgy. For manufacture of auto motive components.". 2. Extrusion presses for forming green compacts. 3. Automatic hydraulic/mechanical presses with shuttling devices for hard metal Powder Compacting/ bonded abrasive manufacturers.
