Amendments to Notification Nos. 38/78-Cus. 38/83-Cus. Notification No. 77/91-Cus. Dated 25-7-1991 In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 25 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), the Central Government, being satisfied that it is necessary in the public interest so to do, hereby directs that each of the notifications of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue), specified in column (2) of the Table hereto annexed, shall be amended or further amended, as the case may be, in the manner specified in the corresponding entry in column (3) of the said Table : TABLE S. No. Notification No. and date Amendment (1) (2) (3) 1. 38/78-Customs, dated the 1st March, 1978. In the Table annexed to the said notification, against Sl. No. 1, in the column (3), for the entry, the entry "110% ad valorem " shall be substituted. 2. 38/83-Customs, dated the 1st March, 1983. In the Table annexed to the said notification, - (a) against Sl. No. 1, in column (3), for the entry, the entry "100% ad valorem plus Rs. 7 per kilogram" shall be substituted; and (b) against Sl. No. 2, in column (3), for entry, the entry "100% ad valorem " shall be substituted.
