Amendment to Notification No. 91/89-Cus. - Electronic components Notification No. 293/90-Cus. Dated 17-12-1990 In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 25 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), the Central Government, being satisfied that it is necessary in the public interest so to do, hereby makes the following further amendments in the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance, Department of Revenue No 91/89-Customs, dated the 1st March, 1989, namely :- In the Table annexed to the said notification, - (i) against Sl. No. 9, for the entry in column (2), the entry "Capacitors (excluding paper capacitors, power capacitors and disc ceramic capacitors)." shall be substituted; (ii) against Sl. No. 11, for the entry in column (2), the entry "Switches with contact rating less than 5 amperes at voltage not exceeding 250 Volts AC or DC" shall be substituted.
