Machinery, equipment, instruments etc. for purposes of light combat aircraft programme [G.E. No. 46A] Notification No. 2/89-Cus. Dated 5-1-1989 In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 25 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), the Central Government, being satisfied that it is necessary in the public interest so to do, hereby makes the following amendments in the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue) No. 228/88-Customs, dated the 1st August, 1988, namely :- In the said notification, - (a) in the opening portion, after the word "spares,", the words "tools, accessories, computer-software", shall be inserted; (b) in the Table annexed to the said notification, after Sl. No. 38 and the entry relating thereto, the following Sl. Nos., and entries shall be inserted, namely :- "39. Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur. 40. Aeronautical Development Agency, Bangalore."
