Date of commencement of the provisions of Section 34(b) of Finance Act, 1989 (13 of 1989) Notification No. 171/89-Cus. Dated 29-5-1989 In exercise of the powers conferred by clause (b) of section 34 of the Finance Act, 1989 (13 of 1989), the Central Government hereby appoints the 1st day of June, 1989, as the date on which the provisions of the said clause shall come into force.
