Amends Notification No. 347/86-Cus. relating to piece parts for electronics industry Notification No. 86/89-Cus. Dated 1-3-1989 In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 25 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), the Central Government, being satisfied that it is necessary in the public interest so to do, hereby makes the following further amendments in the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue) No. 347/86-Customs, dated the 16th June 1986, namely :- In the said notification, - (a) In the opening paragraph for the words "forty-five per cent ad valorem ", the words and figures "55% ad valorem " shall be substituted; (b) In the Table,- (i) against Sl. No. 11, for the entry in column (4), the entry "Capacitors" shall be substituted; (ii) against Sl. No. 23, in column (3), after item (iv), the following item shall be inserted, namely :- "(v) Dia positive of screen drawing"; (iii) against Sl. No. 25, in column (4), for the words "Printed Circuit Boards", the words "Printed Circuit Boards, Hybrid Micro Circuits" shall be substituted; (iv) against Sl. No. 32, for the entry in column (4), the entry "Semiconductor devices, silicon in all forms, Hybrid Micro Circuits" shall be substituted; (v) against Sl. No. 43, for the entry in column (4), the entry "Semi-conductor devices, Hybrid Micro Circuits" shall be substituted; (vi) against Sl. No. 44, in column (3), after item (xvii), the following items shall be inserted, namely :- "(xviii) Freon Solvent TDA - 35 (xix) Freon Solvent TF (xx) Diborane in Argon (xxi) Tin-Silver Antimony alloy"; (vii) after Sl. No. 48 and, the entries relating thereto, the following Sl. No. and entries shall be inserted, namely :- (1) (2) (3) (4) "49. 85 Parts of video head drum assembly. Video tape deck mechanism, Video head drum assembly.".
