Amends Notification No. 343/86-Cus. (Chapter 84) Notification No. 81/89-Cus. Dated 1-3-1989 In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 25 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), the Central Government, being satisfied that it is necessary in the public interest so to do, hereby makes the following further amendments in the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue) No. 343/86-Customs, dated the 16th June 1986, namely :- In the said notification, - (i) for the words "moulds and the tools", wherever they occur, the words "moulds (including chases for the manufacture of semiconductor devices) and the tools (excluding tungsten carbide micro PCB drills)" shall be substituted; and (ii) in clause (a) for the words and figures "30 per cent ad valorem" the words and figures "35 % ad valorem" shall be substituted.
