Amends Notification No. 319/88-Cus. (Copper) Notification No. 55/89-Cus. Dated 1-3-1989 In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 25 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), the Central Government, being satisfied that it is necessary in the public interest so to do, hereby makes the following amendment in the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue) No. 319/88-Customs, dated the 23rd December, 1988, namely :- In the Table annexed to the said notification, for S. No. 3 and the entries relating thereto, the following S. No. and entries shall be substituted, namely :- (1) (2) (3) "3. Copper waste and scrap - (a) waste and scrap, of brass Rs. 9000 per tonne (b) other Rs. 14000 per tonne."
