Styrene [Sub-Heading No. 2902.50] - Amendment to Notification No. 275/87-Cus. Notification No. 384/87-Cus. Dated 30-12-1987 In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 25 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), the Central Government, being satisfied that it is necessary in the public interest so to do, hereby makes the following amendments in the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue) No. 275/87-Customs, dated the 8th July, 1987, namely :- (i) in the opening paragraph of the said notification, for the figures and words "25% ad valorem plus Rs. 1700 per tonne", the figures and words "20% ad valorem plus Rs. 1700 per tonne" shall be substituted; and (ii) in paragraph 2 of the said notification for the figures and words "31st day of December, 1987", the figures and words "30th day of June, 1988" shall be substituted.
