Rate of exchange Notification No. 348/87-Cus. Dated 4-11-1987 In pursuance of sub-clause (1) of Clause (a) of sub-section (3) of Section 14 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962) and in supersession of the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance, Department of Revenue No. 26-Customs, dated the 27th January, 1987 the Central Government hereby determines that for the purpose of Section 14 of the said Act, the rate of exchange for conversion of one Russian Rouble into Indian currency or vice-versa, shall be rupees 15.3915. This rate will be effective from Wednesday, the 4th November, 1987.
