Amends Notification No. 188/87-Cus. Notification No. 316/87-Cus. Dated 17-9-1987 In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of Section 25 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), the Central Government, being satisfied that it is necessary in the public interest so to do, hereby makes the following further amendment in the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue) No. 188/87-Customs, dated the 29th April, 1987, namely :- In the Table annexed to the said notification, for Serial No. 8 and the entries relating thereto, the following Serial No. and entries shall be substituted, namely :- (1) (2) "8. (a) Electronic Microcircuits, excluding memories. (b) Memories of the following type, namely :- (i) DRAM 64K x 1 bit (ii) DRAM 256K x 1 bit (iii) SRAM 1K x 4 bits (iv) SRAM 2K x 8 bits (v) ROM 16K x 8 bits (vi) EPROM 4K x 8 bits (vii) EPROM 16K x 8 bits (viii) EEPROM 8K x 8 bits (ix) DRAM 1024K x 1 bit (x) EPROM 32K x 8 bits (xi) EPROM 64K x 8 bits (xii) SRAM 8K x 8 bits".
