Amendment to Notification No. 2/87 Notification No. 100/87-Cus. Dated 1-3-1987 In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 25 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), the Central Government, being satisfied that it is necessary in the public interest so to do, hereby makes the following amendment in the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue) No. 2/87-Customs, dated the 1st January, 1987, namely :- In the Table annexed to the notification, after Serial No. 2 and the entries relating thereto, the following Serial Nos. and entries shall be inserted, namely :- (1) (2) (3) "3. Key components for miscella refining plants for production of edible oil from oils containing high proportion of free fatty acids, namely :- 30% ad valorem (a) Dewaxing filters (b) Scap acidulation tank (c) Rectifiers. 4. Machines for cracking and flaking of seeds with rolls of hardness not below 500 Brinell and thickness not below 15 mm and rolls for such machines. 30% ad valorem 5. Destoning machines for cleaning seeds. 30% ad valorem 6. Expander or extruder systems, namely :- 30% ad valorem (a) Expander (b) Dryer - coller (c) Pneumatically controlled valve systems for desolventiser-toaster. (d) Discharge rotary valve. (e) Pellet mill for attachment to the bottom of desolventiser-toaster. (f) Hydrocyclone for removing fines from desolventiser-toaster-vapor and for clarification of miscella. (g) Initial spare-parts for the above items. (h) A system comprising of one or more of the above components. 7. Flash desolventiser-toaster for production of edible quality deoiled meal and parts thereof. 30% ad valorem 8. Pin or disc type mills to grind deoiled meal to powder of size below 500 micron. 30% ad valorem ."
