Appointment of officers of Customs Notification No. 229/86-Cus. Dated 31-3-1986 In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 4 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), the Central Government hereby appoints the Director (O M) in the Central Board of Excise and Customs, Department of Revenue, Ministry of Finance, New Delhi, also to be the Commissioner of Customs for Delhi, Calcutta and Bombay.
