Goods falling under Chapter 39 Notification No. 170/86-Cus. Dated 1-3-1986 In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 25 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962), the Central Government, being satisfied that it is necessary in the public interest so to do, hereby makes the following further amendments in the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue and Banking) No. 227-Customs, dated the 2nd August, 1976, namely :— In the Table annexed to the said notification, in column (3), — (i) for the entry against S. No. 4, the words "sixty per cent ad valorem shall be substituted; (ii) for the entry against S. No. 5, the words "sixty per cent ad valorem" shall be substituted.
