Amendment to Notification Nos. 51/86-Cus., 66/86-Cus., 67/86-Cus., 69/86-Cus., 92/86-Cus. and 95/86-Cus. Notification No. 147E/86-Cus. Dated 27-2-1986 In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 25 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962) the Central Government, being satisfied that it is necessary in public interest so to do, hereby directs that each of the notifications of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance, Department of Revenue specified in column (2) of the Table hereto annexed shall be amended in the manner specified in the corresponding entry in column (3) of the said Table : THE TABLE Sl. No. Notification No. and date Amendment (1) (2) (3) 1. 51-Customs, dated the 17th February, 1986 In the Table annexed to the said notification, against Sl. No. 1, in column (2), for the figures "3402.20", the figures "34.02" shall be substituted. 2. 66-Customs, dated the 17th February, 1986 In the Table annexed to the said notification— (i) against Sl. No. 16, in column (3), for the words and figures "Auxiliary machines solely for use with machines other than those falling under sub-heading Nos. 8448.19, 8448.51, 8448.59", the words and figures Auxiliary machinery for machines of heading Nos. 84.44, 84.45, 84.46 and 84.47 other than domestic knitting machines, machines for making gimped yarn, tulle, lace, embroidery, trimmings, braid or net" shall be substituted; (ii) against Sl. No. 17, in column (3), for the words and figures "parts of machines falling under sub-heading Nos. 8448.11, 8448,20, 8448.31, 8448.32, 8448.33, 8448.39, 8448.41, 8448.42, 8448.49" the words and figures "parts and accessories of machines of Heading No. 84.47 or of the auxiliary machinery other than domestic knitting machines, machines for making gimped yarn, tulles, lace, embroidery, trimmings, braid or net" shall be substituted ; (iii) after Sl. No. 18 and the entries relating thereto, the following Sl. No. and entries shall be inserted, namely :— (1) (2) (3) (4) "18A. 8452.90 Parts of sewing machines (other than domestic sewing machines) 40% ad valorem 3. 67-Customs, dated the 17th February, 1986. In the Table annexed to the said notification:— (i) against Sl. No. (1), in col. (3), for the words and figures "DC generators and the following electric motors, namely : flame proof motors, variable speed commutator motors, motors designed for use in circuits of 400 volts and above and other motors of rated output 1, 5KV and above", the words and figures "DC generators and the following electric motors, namely : flame proof motors, variable speed commutator motors, internally geared motors, motors designed for use in circuits of 400 volts and above and other motors of rated output of 1.5 KW and above" shall be substituted. (ii) against Sl. No. 3 in column (3) for the entry (a), the following entry shall be substituted, namely : "(a) Flame proof transformers; other transformers whose rated input voltage is not less than 400 volts; and parts of such transformers" 4. 69-Customs, dated the 17th February, 1986. In the Table annexed to the said notification,— (i) after Sl. No. 10 and the entries relating thereto, the following Sl. No. and entries shall be inserted, namely :— (1) (2) (3) (4) '10A. 9031.90 (a) Parts and accessories of instruments, falling under sub-heading Nos. 9031.10 and 9031.30 other than those containing thermionic valves or transistors or similar semi-conductor devices or lights emitting diodes or electronic micro-circuits. 40% ad valorem (b) Parts and accessories of instruments falling under sub-heading Nos. 9031.20, 9031.40 and 9031.80 other than those containing thermionic valves or transistors or similar semi-conductor devices or light emitting diodes or electronic micro-circuits". 60% ad valorem (ii) against Sl. No. 11, in column (2) for the existing entry, following entry shall be substituted, namely :— "9032.81 9032.89" 5. 92-Customs, dated the 17th February, 1986 In the Table annexed to the said notification, against serial No. 16 in column (3), after the figures "5301.10" the figures "5303.10" shall be inserted. 6. 95-Customs, dated the 17th February, 1986 In the Table annexed to the said notifications, against Sl. No. 3 in column (2), for the words and figures "Flame proof transformers whose rated input voltage is not less than 400 volts", the words and figures "Flame proof transformers; other transformers whose rated input voltage is not less than 400 volts" shall be substituted.
