To set up a sector specific Special Economic Zone for information technology and information technology enabled services at Village Kadubeesanahalli, Taluka Varthur Hobli, District Bangalore in the State of Karnataka MINISTRY OF COMMERCE AND INDUSTRY (Department of Commerce) NOTIFICATION New Delhi , the 6th October, 2009 S.O. 2546(E). - Whereas, M/s. Cessna Garden Developers Private Limited, a private organisation in the State of Karnataka, has proposed under Section 3 of the Special Economic Zones Act, 2005 (28 of 2005), (hereinafter referred to as the said Act) to set up a sector specific Special Economic Zone for information technology and information technology enabled services at Village Kadubeesanahalli, Taluka Varthur Hobli, District Bangalore in the State of Karnataka; And, whereas, the Central Government, in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of Section 4 of the said Act read with rule 8 of the Special Economic Zone Rules 2006 , has notified an area of 19.334064750 hectares at above Special Economic Zone in the Ministry of Commerce and Industry Notification Number S.O.1979(E) dated 16th November, 2006; And, whereas M/s. Cessna Garden Developers Private Limited has proposed for the de-notification of 2.448578900 hectares and inclusion of 1.912955466 Ha. at the above Special Economic zone and the Central Government after considering the said proposal approved and conveyed it on 6th October, 2008 and 29th January, 2009 respectively; And, whereas, the Central Government is satisfied that the requirements under sub-section (8) of Section 3 of the said Act and other related requirements are fulfilled; Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by second proviso to sub-section (1) of Section 4 of the Special Economic Zones Act, 2005 and in pursuance of rule 8 of the Special Economic Zones Rules, 2006 , the Central Government hereby de-notifies an area of 2.448578900 hectares and notifies an additional area of 1.912955466 hectares, thereby making resultant area as 18.798441316 hectares at Village Kadubeesanahalli,Taluka Varthur Hobli, District Bangalore in the State of Karnataka, comprising of the survey numbers and the area given below in the Table, to be included as a part of that Special Economic Zone, namely:— TABLE Sl.
