Amends entries related to MRP goods – relating to Pan masala containing tobacco, Parts, components and assemblies of automobiles - 09/2010 - Central Excise - Non Tariff

NOTIFICATION NO. 9/2010-CX (N.T.) Dated: February 27, 2010 G.S.R. 125(E).- In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-sections (1) and (2) of section 4A of the Central Excise Act, 1944 (1 of 1944) , the Central Government hereby makes the following further amendments in the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue), No.49/2008-Central Excise (N.T.), dated the 24th December, 2008 , published in the Gazette of India extraordinary, vide number G.S.R.882 (E), dated the 24th December, 2008, namely In the said notification , in the Table, (i) against S.No.21, for the entry in column (4), the entry "55" shall be substituted (ii) against S.No.27, for the entry in column (4), the entry "55" shall be substituted; (iii) for S. No. 108 and the entries relating thereto, the following shall be substituted, namely TABLE (1) (2) (3) (4) "108. Any Chapter Parts, components and assemblies of vehicles (including chassis fitted with engines) falling under Chapter 87 excluding vehicles falling under headings 8712 , 8713 , 8715 and 8716 30" [F.No.334/1/2010-TRU] (PRASHANT KUMAR) UNDER SECRETARY TO THE GOVT OF INDIA Note: - The principal notification published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, vide number G.S.R. 882(E), dated the 24th December, 2008, and last amended by notification No.18/2009-Central Excise, dated the 7th July, 2009 , was published vide number G.S.R. 483 (E), dated the 7th July, 2009.
