To set up a sector specific Special Economic Zone for information technology and information technology enabled services at Manikonda Village, Rajendra Nagar Mandal, Ranga Reddy District in the State of Andhra Pradesh MINISTRY OF COMMERCE AND INDUSTRY (Department of Commerce) NOTIFICATION New Delhi , the 19th May, 2010 S.O. 1189(E).- Whereas, M/s. Emaar Hills Township Private Limited, a private organisation in the State of Andhra Pradesh, had proposed under Section 3 of the Special Economic Zones Act, 2005 (28 of 2005) , (hereinafter referred to as the said Act ) to set up a sector specific Special Economic Zone for information technology and information technology enabled services at Manikonda Village, Rajendra Nagar Mandal, Ranga Reddy District in the State of Andhra Pradesh; And whereas, the Central Government, in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of Section 4 of the said Act read with rule 8 of the Special Economic Zones Rules, 2006 , had notified an area of 10.33 hectares at above Special Economic Zone vide the Ministry of Commerce and Industry Notification Number S.O. 548(E), dated 10th April, 2007 ; And whereas, M/s. Emaar Hills Township Private Limited has now proposed for the inclusion of 3.14 hectares and de-notification of 2.95 hectares at the above Special Economic Zone and the Central Government after considering the said proposal approved and conveyed it on 19th June, 2007 and 19th February, 2010 respectively; And whereas, the Central Government is satisfied that the requirements under sub-section (8) of Section 3 of the said Act and other related requirements are fulfilled; Now therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by second proviso to sub-section (1) of Section 4 of the Special Economic Zones Act, 2005 and in pursuance of rule 8 of the Special Economic Zones Rules, 2006 , the Central Government hereby notifies an additional area of 3.14 hectares and de-notifies an area of 2.95 hectares, thereby making resultant area as 10.52 hectares, comprising of the survey numbers and the area given below in the Table, namely:- TABLE Serial No. Name of the Village Survey Number Area originally Notified (in hectares) Area to be Notified (in hectares) Area to be De-Notified (in hectares) New Area of the SEZ (in hectares) (1) (2) (3) (4) (5) (6) (7) 1.
