Setting up a Sector Specific SEZ for Handicraft sector at Jaipur Highway, Village Kaparda, Jodhpur - Rajasthan - De-notification of certain area notified notification number S.O. 2113(E) dated 7th December, 2007 MINSTRY OF COMMERCE AND INDUSTRY (Department of Commerce) NOTIFICATION New Delhi , the 6th October, 2010 S.O. 2443(E).- Whereas, M/s. Mansarovar Industrial Development Corporation, had proposed under Section 3 of the Special Economic Zones Act, 2005 (28 of 2005), (hereinafter referred to as the said Act ), to set up a sector specific Special Economic Zone for Handicraft sector at Jaipur Highway, Village Kaparda, Jodhpur, in the State of Rajasthan; And whereas, the Central Government, in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of Section 4 of the said Act read with rule 8 of the Special Economic Zones Rules, 2006 , had notified a total area of 130.689 hectares at Jaipur Highway, Village Kaparda, Jodhpur, in the State of Rajasthan as Special Economic Zone in the Ministry of Commerce and Industry notification number S.O. 2113(E) dated 7th December, 2007; And whereas M/s. Mansarovar Industrial Development Corporation has proposed to de-notify' an area of 10 hectares at Village Kaparda, Jodhpur, in the State of Rajasthan: And whereas the Central Government is satisfied that the requirements under sub-section (8) of Section 3 of the Act and other related requirements are fulfilled and it has granted letter of approval under sub-section (10) of Section 3 of the Act for de-notification of 10 hectares from UK notified Special Economic Zone for Handicraft sector on 30th June, 2009; Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by second proviso to sub-section (1) of Section 4 of the Special Economic Zone Act, 2005 and in pursuance of the rule 8 of the Special Economic Zones Rules. 2006 , the Central Government hereby de-notifies an area of 10 hectares, comprising at Khasra number 10/2, Village Kaparda, Jodhpur, in the State of Rajasthan from the notified Special Economic Zone for Handicraft sector.
