Notification : No. GSR 563(E), dated 19 8 1993. Subject:- Contracts in which directors are interested Powers of Central Government under section 297(1), proviso, delegated to Regional Directors GSR 563(E).- In exercise of the powers conferred by sub section (1) of section 637 of the Companies Act, 1956 (1 of 1956), the Central Government hereby delegates to the Regional Directors at Bombay, Calcutta, Madras, and Kanpur, the powers and functions of the Central Government under the proviso to sub section (1) of section 297 of the said Act. This notification shall come into force from the date of its publication in the Official Gazette.
