S.O. 20(E), DATED 9-1-2007, New Delhi, the 9 th January, 2007 Subject:- Declaration of M/s EDC Limited and M/s Tamil Nadu Power Infrastructure Development Corporation Limited as a Public Financial Institution under section 4A of the Companies Act, 1956 S.O. 20(E).- In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (2) of section 4A of the Companies Act, 1956 (1 of 1956), the Central Government hereby specifies the following institutions to be public financial institutions and for that purpose makes the following further amendment in the Notification of the Government of India, published in the Gazette of India, dated 13th May, 1978 in Part II, section 3( ii ), in the Ministry of Law, Justice and Company Affairs (Department of Company Affairs) vide number S.O. 1329, dated 8th May, 1978, namely : In the said notification, after serial number 47, the following serial numbers and entries shall be inserted, namely : 48.
