S.O.1291(E), Dated 30-7-2007, New Delhi, the 30 th July, 2007 Subject:- Section 609 of the Companies Act, 1956 - Registration Offices - Notified offices S.O.1291(E).- In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (2) of section 609 of the Companies Act, 1956 (1 of 1956), the Central Government hereby appoints the Registrar of Companies, Tamil Nadu as the Registrar for registration of companies under the said Act in the Union Territory of Andaman and Nicobar Islands with effect from 20th August, 2007.
