Further amends Notification No. 21/2002-Customs - Exemption and effective rate of basic and additional duty for specified goods of Chapter 1 to 99. - 04/2012 - Customs - Customs -Tariff

[TO BE PUBLISHED IN THE GAZETTE OF INDIA, EXTRAORDINARY, PART II, SECTION 3, SUB-SECTION (i)] Government of India Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue) Notification No.04/2012 - Customs New Delhi, the 17 th January, 2012 G.S.R. (E).- In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 25 of the Customs Act, 1962 (52 of 1962) , the Central Government, on being satisfied that it is necessary in the public interest so to do, hereby makes the following further amendments in the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue), No. 21/2002-Customs , dated the 1 st March, 2002, published in the Gazette of India, Extraordinary, Part II, Section 3, Sub-Section (i), vide number G.S.R.118 (E) dated the 1 st March, 2002, namely:- In the said notification, - (1) in the opening paragraph, in the proviso, after clause (m), the following clause shall be inserted, namely :- (n) the goods specified against serial number 1 [ 491D ] of the said Table on or 2 [ after ] the 16 th day of January, 2013. ; (2) in the Table, after S.No.491B and the entries relating thereto, the following serial numbers and entries shall be inserted, namely:- (1) (2) (3) (4) (5) (6) 1 [ 491D ] . 4001 10 All goods ₹ 49/- per kg - 112 (3) after condition No.111 and the entry relating there to, the following shall be inserted, namely:- 112 If the duty amount per kg calculated at the rate of 70% ad valorem , is more than ₹ 49/- per kg .
