Rescinded vide notification no. 40/2011 CE dated 16-11-2011 Exempts goods falling within the First Schedule to the Central Excise Tariff Act, 1985 (5 of 1986), and manufactured and cleared from M/s Brahmaputra Cracker and Polymer Limited, located in village Lepetkata, District-Dibrugarh, Assam, from whole of the duty of excise leviable thereon. (E).- In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of section 5A of the Central Excise Act, 1944 (1 of 1944), the Central Government, on being satisfied that it is necessary in the public interest so to do, hereby exempts goods falling within the First Schedule to the Central Excise Tariff Act, 1985 (5 of 1986), and manufactured and cleared from M/s Brahmaputra Cracker and Polymer Limited, located in village Lepetkata, District-Dibrugarh, Assam, from whole of the duty of excise leviable thereon. 2. The exemption contained in this notification shall be in force for a period not exceeding ten years from the date of commencement of commercial production.
