Rescinds the Notification No 24/2001-Central Excise dated the 30th April, 2001 NOTIFICATION No. 46/2002-CE DATED 06/09/2002 G.S.R. (E).- In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section(1) of section 5A of the Central Excise Act, 1944(1 of 1944), the Central Government, being satisfied that it is necessary in the public interest so to do, rescinds the notification of the Government of India, in the Ministry of Finance (Department of Revenue), No 24/2001-Central Excise dated the 30th April, 2001 [ G.S.R 313 (E) dated the 30th April, 2001] F.No 354/158/2002-TRU (Pl. refer Cir. No. 660/51/2002-CX, Dt. 09/09/2002 for Restoration of excise exemption to the hand processing sector and restoration of SSI exemption for ball roller bearing industry )
