Set up a multi-product Special Economic Zone at Mihan, District Nagpur in the State of Maharashtra by /s. Maharashtra Airport Development Company Limited MINISTRY OF COMMERCE AND INDUSTRY (Department of Commerce) NOTIFICATION New Delhi , the 24th January, 2008 S.O. 144(E). Whereas M/s. Maharashtra Airport Development Company Limited in the State of Maharashtra, has proposed under Section 3 of the Special Economic Zones Act, 2005 (28 of 2005), (hereinafter referred to as the said Act), to set up a multi-product Special Economic Zone at Mihan, District Nagpur in the State of Maharashtra; And whereas, the Central Government, in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of Section 4 of the said Act read with rule 8 of the Special Economic Zone Rules, 2006, has notified the total area of 1511.51 hectares at Mihan, District Nagpur in the State of Maharashtra, as Special Economic Zone in the Ministry of Commerce and Industry Notification No. S.O. 845 (E) dated 29th May, 2007; And whereas, the Central Government is satisfied that the requirements under sub-section (8) of Section 3 of the Act and other related requirements are fulfilled; Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by second proviso to sub-section (1) of Section 4 of the Special Economic Zones Act, 2005 and in pursuance of rule 8 of the Special Economic Zones Rules, 2006, the Central Government hereby notifies an additional area of 66.90 hectares at Mihan, District Nagpur in the State of Maharashtra, comprising of the survey numbers and the area given below in the Table, to be included as a part of that Special Economic Zone, namely : TABLE Sl.
