Amends Sixth Schedule of DVAT Act FINANCE (TAXES AND ESTABLISHMENT) DEPARTMENT NOTIFICATION Delhi , the 10th March, 2008 No. F.3(21)/Fin(T E)/2007-08/JS fin/94.- Whereas the Lt. Governor of the National Capital Territory of Delhi is of the opinion that it is expedient in the interest of general public so to do. Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by Section 103 of the Delhi Value Added Tax Act, 2004 (Delhi Act 3 of2005), the Lt. Governor of the National Capital Territory of Delhi, hereby, makes the following amendments in the Sixth Schedule appended to the said Act, namely :- AMENDMENTS 1. In the Sixth Schedule appended to the said Act, (a) In the entry at Sl. No. I, in part-A, (i) after the sub-entry at S. No. (26A), the following sub-entry shall be inserted retrospectively from 1 st May, 2006, namely: "(26B) DOMINICAN REPUBLIC "; (ii) after sub-entry at Sl. No. (59), the following sub-entry shall be inserted retrospectively from 19th July,2007, namely: "(59A) Malta "; (iii) in sub-entry (25), after the words Czech Republic, the following words, letters and figures shall be inserted retrospectively w.e.f. 7th January, 2008, namely : "Only for invoices of Rs. 8,200/- and above': By Order and in the Name of the Lt.
