NOTIFICATION New Delhi, the 30th April, 2008 S.O. 1065 (E). In exercise of the powers conferred by sub section (1) of section 13 of the Special Economic Zones, Act, 2005 (28 of 2005), the Central Government, hereby constitutes a Committee to be called the Approval Committee for the information technology and information technology enabled services Special Economic Zone 6t Sholinganallur and Perumbakkarn Village, Tambararn Taluk, Kancheepurarn District, Tamil Nadu developed by M/s Electronics Corporation of Tamil Nadu Limited for the purposes of the said Act consisting of the following Chairperson and Members, namely: Development Commissioner Chairperson, Ex officio MEPZ Special Economic Zone Director or Deputy Secretary to Member, Ex officio the Government of India, Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Depart ment of Commerce or his nominee not below the rank of Under Secretary to the Government of India. Zonal Joint Director General of Member, Ex officio Foreign Trade, Chennai. Commissioner of Customs or Member, Ex officio Central Excise having territorial. jurisdiction over the Special Eco nomic Zone or his nominee not below the rank of Joint Commissioner. Commissioner of Income Tax having Member, Ex officio territorial jurisdiction over the Special Economic Zone or his nominee not below the rank of Joint Commissioner. Director (Banking) in the Ministry Member, Ex officio of Finance, Banking Division, Government of India. Director, Tamil Nadu Industrial Member, Ex officio Guidance and Export Promotion Bureau, Government of Tamil Nadu. Secretary (Industries), Government Member, Ex officio of Tamil Nadu. 9. Representative of M/s Electronics Special Corporation of Tamil Nadu Limited Invitee (Developer). 2.
