To set up a sector specific Special Economic Zone for information technology and information technology enabled services at Near DA-II CT , Sargasan Dhola Kuan Road , Gandhinagar District in the State of Gujarat . MINISTRY OF COMMERCE AND INDUSTRY (Department of Commerce) NOTIFICATION New Delhi , the 9th June, 2008 S.O. 1406(E).— Whereas M/s. DLF Commercial Developers Limited, a private organization in the State of Gujarat, has proposed under Section 3 of the Special Economic Zones Act, 2005 (28 of 2005), (hereinafter referred to as the said Act) to set up a sector specific Special Economic Zone for information technology and information technology enabled services at Near DA-II CT, Sargasan Dhola Kuan Road, Gandhinagar District in the State of Gujarat; And whereas the Central Government is satisfied that requirements under sub-section (8) of Section 3 of the said Act, and other related requirements are fulfilled and it has granted letter of approval under sub-section (10) of Section 3 of the said Act for development, operation and maintenance of the sector specific Special Economic Zone for information technology and information technology enabled at Gandhinagar area on the 30th July, 2007; And whereas M/s. DLF Commercial Developers Limited has proposed for the transfer of the approval to M/s. DLF Limited at Gandhinagar in the State of Gujarat and the Central Government after considering the said transfer proposal approved it and conveyed such transfer of approval on 14th March, 2008; Now, therefore, in exercise of the powers conferred by sub-section (1) of Section 4 of the Special Economic Zones Act, 2005 and in pursuance of rule 8 of the Special Economic Zones Rules, 2006, the Central Government hereby notifies the following area at Near DA-II CT, Sargasan Dhola Kuan Road, Gandhinagar District in the State of Gujarat, comprising of the plot numbers and the area given below in the Table, as a Special Economic Zone, namely :— Table S.
