The number of foreign companies registered during the previous three years and the current year (up to 30.06.2014) and fees collected for their registration in India are indicated in Table-1 below:
Decision on closure of businesses is taken by the management of the company concerned. The number of foreign companies that had closed their business in India during the previous three years and the current year (up to 30.06.2014) are given in Table-2 below.
This was stated by Smt. Nirmala Sitharaman, MoS in the Ministry of Finance in written reply to a question in the Lok Sabha today. |
