Sharing Data with Regulators

Conducts Rule based validation for certain filings, other filings are examined by the regulatory officials for approval. All filings made are available as an electronic database for public viewing.

Access to the corporate database in the portal is available to various regulators including Central Board of Excise and Customs, the Central Board of Direct Taxes, Securities and Exchange Board of India, Reserve Bank of India and Financial Intelligence Unit etc.

This was stated by Shri Arun Jaitley, Minister of Corporate Affairs in written reply to a question in the Lok Sabha today.
