The Central Government issues notification to reappoint Shri U.K. Sinha to the post of Chairman, SEBI |

Press Information Bureau Government of India Ministry of Finance 18-February-2016 19:20 IST In exercise of the powers conferred by Section 4 of the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) Act, 1992 read with Rule 3 of SEBI Rules 1992, the Central Government has re-appointed Shri U.K. Sinha to the post of Chairman, SEBI with effect from 18.02.2016 to 01.03.2017 or until further orders, whichever is earlier. A notification to this effect has been issued today.
