Dear Sir, I had given my space to someone and I got a rent after deduction of TDS from them and same has been paid someone should I deduct TDS for the same. As the TDS is already deducted once. Posts / Replies Showing Replies 1 to 3 of 3 Records Page: 1
The nature of payment is essential to determine whether TDS is applicable or not. You have received rent and therefore TDS was deducted. Similarly what is nature of the payment you made to someone. This will certainly determine whether TDS is applicable or not.
