I want to know wheather " Wealth tax registration " is required for already " a certified registered chatered engineer " of Government of kerala ( Reg.No. E-2050/08/7670/KKD/305/2015/EA) to do valuation for banks.

If yes, what are procedures to get a " Wealth Tax Registration".

In my view wealth tax act is not applicable. Not in force.

Yes , it is required to be registered under Section 34 AB (2) of the Wealth Tax Act.

Regarding procedure, you have to make an Application for registration as a valuer under section 34AB of the Wealth-tax Act, 1957.
