ESI limit exemption limit ₹ 21000/- applicability

Dear All,

One news channel says ESI exemption limit of ₹ 21000/- applicable from 1.1.2017 but i have not found this notificaiton in ESI site and any other news.

Whether this is true it is applicable from 1.1.2017?
