The Hindu Succession (Amendment) Act, 2005 (39 of 2005)says that women are to be treated as co parceners, need a clarification whether to treat them as member or coparceners Posts / Replies Showing Replies 1 to 1 of 1 Records Page: 1
I think, HINDU SUCCESSION ACT, 1956 as a whole does not specifies any terms such membership of HUF etc. After THE HINDU SUCCESSION (AMENDMENT) ACT, 2005, women (daughter) become the coparcener like son.
