Dear All, Can a notice be issued for asking documents and returns without stating the relevant provisions of the Act i.e. under which section the proper officers is empowered to issue notices. Posts / Replies Showing Replies 1 to 3 of 3 Records
Sh.Punit Agarwal Ji, In stead of picking holes in the letter or notice, supply information and docs to the department. It is sincere and unprejudiced advice to you. Fight the case on meriits. Save your time and energy. It is in your interest i.e. client's interest. Why to beat about the bush ?
Department has right to ask for the information via notice, email or also over phone. We have to provide the same. Both taxpayer and taxman are working for the nation building.
