Under Chandigarh VAT Act 'Bread' is mentioned as exempted goods.  But items mentioned above are nowhere mentioned as exempted. These may come under the broad category of Bread or these may attract VAT @ 12.50% under SCHEDULE – F( S e e  s e c t i o n 8 ) LIST OF GOODS TAXABLE @ 12.5 PERCENT

"G o o d s  n o t  m e n t i o n e d  i n  a n y  o t h e r  s c h e dule."

Further, you can get it clarified from the Chandigarh VAT Department.
